Returns and Cancellation Policy
KTechnology Solutions – IT Infrastructure Shop Last updated: 22 October 2026
This policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions of Sale. It explains your right to cancel an order and how to return goods. Sections 1 to 6 apply to consumers. Section 7 covers faulty goods for everyone. Section 8 covers business customers.
1. Your right to cancel (consumers)
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason.
The cancellation period ends 14 days after the day on which you, or a person you name (other than the carrier), take physical possession of the goods. If you ordered several items that are delivered on different days, the 14 days run from the day you receive the last item.
2. How to cancel
To cancel, you must tell us of your decision by a clear statement, for example an email to info@ktechnologysolutions.co.uk or a letter to KTechnology Solutions, 71-75 Shelton Street, London, WC2H 9JQ. Please include your order number.
You may use the model cancellation form below, but you do not have to.
To meet the deadline, you only need to send your message before the cancellation period ends.
We will confirm by email that we have received your cancellation.
3. Returning the goods
Please send the goods back without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days after the day you tell us you are cancelling. Send them to:
Processing Workshop: KTechnology Solutions, Springfield Farm Shop, East Charleton, Kingsbridge, TQ7 2AR
Please quote your order number and pack the goods carefully, ideally in their original packaging.
Cost of returning the goods: if you cancel because you have changed your mind, you will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods to us, for example the postage or courier charge you pay to send them back. We do not charge any other fee, handling charge or restocking fee for a cancellation. Because many of our products are high value, we recommend a tracked, signed-for and insured service.
Collection by us (optional, UK only): instead of sending the goods back yourself, you can ask us to collect them from a UK address. If you choose collection, you will pay our actual cost of collection, which will be up to £25 per parcel. We will confirm the exact amount before we arrange collection, and we will only collect if you agree to pay it.
If goods are faulty or not as described, we will pay the return cost (see section 7).
4. Your refund
- We will refund all payments received from you, including the £25 delivery charge in full.
- We will make the refund without undue delay, and no later than 14 days after the day we receive the goods back or, if earlier, the day you provide evidence that you have sent them back. If we collect the goods, the 14 days run from the day you tell us you are cancelling.
- We will refund you using the same payment method you used for the original purchase, unless you expressly agree otherwise. You will not pay any fee for the refund.
- If you chose collection by us, the agreed collection cost may be deducted from your refund.
5. Handling goods during the cancellation period
You may handle the goods as you would in a shop, to establish their nature, characteristics and how they work. If you handle them more than that and their value is reduced as a result, we may deduct the reduction in value from your refund (up to the price you paid). For example, a deduction may apply for signs of installation and use, missing accessories, or damaged or missing packaging that reduces the resale value. Any deduction will reflect the actual loss in value, and we will explain how we worked it out.
6. When the right to cancel does not apply or is lost
- Sealed software: if you buy sealed computer software (for example software in sealed packaging or on sealed physical media), you lose the right to cancel once the seal is broken after delivery.
- Goods made to your specification: goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised for you cannot be cancelled.
- Goods mixed with other items: you lose the right to cancel if, after delivery, the goods by their nature become inseparably mixed with other items.
These exceptions do not affect your rights if goods are faulty or not as described (see section 7).
7. Faulty or incorrect goods (all customers)
If goods arrive faulty, damaged or not as described, please email info@ktechnologysolutions.co.uk with your order number, a description of the problem and, where possible, photographs. We will arrange the return at our cost and, depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, provide a refund, repair or replacement.
For consumers, this is in addition to your right to cancel and does not affect your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
8. Business customers
The 14-day cancellation right in sections 1 to 6 applies to consumers only. Business customers may return goods if they are faulty or not as described, as set out in Part C of our Terms and Conditions of Sale.
